Palmetto Drapery strives to achieve the highest levels of proficiency in the sewing and fabrication of custom curtains, draperies, valances, soft shades, pillows, and bedding ensembles. Our workroom is equipped with state of the art industrial sewing machinery and equipment, allowing us to produce superior quality products that exceed industry standards.
Owner Judy Peters is a graduate of the Custom Home Furnishings Academy in Charlotte, NC, and has completed classes at The Creative Sewing Institute in Houston, Texas. She is proficient in sewing and fabrication techniques unique to the custom drapery and soft home furnishings industry.
To provide her clients with the best and latest in custom sewing, Judy participates in monthly educational webinars, subscribes to trade and design journals, networks with other fabricators throughout the world, and routinely attends professional development classes and trade shows. She is an active member of the Window Coverings Association of America, is a Window Fashions Certified Professional, and a Professional Level member of the Custom Home Furnishings Academy Network Forum.
